We will visit the imposing Arciprestal Temple which was both a fortress and fulfilled a very important defensive function.
Particularly striking are the trompe-l’oeil paintings that cover all its exterior walls. They are undoubtedly impressive and enigmatic!
The impressive portal of the Temple is one of the best examples of Valencian Baroque.
We will decipher some of its best-kept secrets by visiting the interior of the monumental defensive-religious construction, through the walkway of its bell tower.
We will relive the various historical stages in which the temple was key in the defense of Vinaròs.
We will continue our guided visit along the bustling Main Street, where we will admire the beautiful Casa Giner or the old Casa del Consell, until we reach Plaza San Agustín.
We will discover the old Convent of San Agustín and the beautiful Chapel of Santa Victoria, with its fantastic paintings and surprising history.
We will finish our tour at the Temple of local gastronomy and especially of its prawn, the Vinaròs Market.
