The Panxuts festival was the traditional carnival celebration in La Jana since time immemorial and after many years almost forgotten, the La Jana Cultural Association has recovered it thanks to the memory of the elders. The panxuts, the typical characters, walk through the town followed by children who try to make them fall, while the Agüeleta de Basques dissuades them with a stick.
The route ends at the Main Square where hot chocolate is offered to the children and the panxuts can finally rest!!!!
